TNG Installable + Notifications

TL;DR

  • Install TNG like a real app. We’re not no app store (yet) but can be installed and used like a real app store app.

  • Push notifications so your friend/partner can reach you when you're away.

New Features

Install as an App

TNG now works as a standalone app on your phone.

Why it's better than the browser:

  • Opens instantly (no typing URLs or finding bookmarks)

  • Full-screen experience without browser bars

  • Push notifications actually work

  • Feels like a native app because... it basically is

Works on:

  • iPhone/iPad - Safari's "Add to Home Screen" (we'll walk you through it)

  • Android - Chrome prompts you automatically

  • Desktop - Chrome, Edge, and Safari 17+ all support it

Look for the install prompt after you meet your first character, or find it in Settings → General.

Push Notifications

Once you install the app, the characters can actually reach out to you. When she's "thinking of you," you'll get a notification. You can also configure quiet hours to whichever local time you like.

Improvements

"Free to Chat" Messaging

We made the indications clearer, characters are available to chat and also, they don't ask for your money to go on that date with them. Can you say the same about people on dating apps?

This isn’t anything new, we just improved the communication because some of you were not too sure whether you had to pay beforehand.
